Day 1: NJP/IXB → Darjeeling
Arrival & Transfer: Distance ~70–80 km, takes around 3–3.5 hours (can vary due to traffic and hilly roads).
Check-in & Rest: Relax at your hotel after the journey and acclimate to the altitude.
Evening (Chowrasta Mall Road): Enjoy a walk around Mall Road, shop for souvenirs, and try local snacks or tea at a café.
Day 2: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
Early Morning (4:00 AM – 8:30 AM): Three Points Trip
* Tiger Hill – Famous sunrise view of Mt. Kanchenjunga.
* Ghoom Monastery – Yiga Choeling Monastery, oldest in Darjeeling.
* Batasia Loop – See the spiral railway and War Memorial.
Day Sightseeing (9:30 AM onwards): Four to Seven Points Trip
* Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) & Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday).
* Tenzing Rock & Gombu Rock – Short climbs and photo stop.
* Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (Closed on Sunday).
* Peace Pagoda (Japanese Temple) – Panoramic town views.
* Happy Valley Tea Estate – Optional tea factory visit.
